Rocket Beaver Software operates its apps and services from Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy is effective August 21, 2026. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to admin@rocketbeaver.ca.
Our Privacy Approach
We collect and process only information reasonably necessary to provide the features you choose to use, operate and secure our services, provide support, prevent abuse and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell users' personal information or disclose personal information to third parties in exchange for money.
Information We May Collect
Depending on the app and the features you use, information may include account identifiers such as an email address, display name or service user identifier; information and content you choose to submit; saved preferences and app settings; subscription or entitlement status; support messages and reports; optional location information; and technical information reasonably needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Information You Choose to Share
Some Rocket Beaver products let users post, share or store information such as sale details, family profile information, photographs, event information, messages or other content. The app will use that information to provide the feature for which it was submitted. Where a feature is described as public, information submitted to that feature may be visible to other users. Where a feature is described as private or family-only, access is limited according to the app's sharing and membership controls.
Location Information
Some apps use location to find nearby places or events, calculate distances, support mapping or provide other location-based features. Device location is requested only when a feature needs it and you grant permission. Where an app permits a manually entered starting location, that information is used for the requested feature and is not made public unless the app clearly tells you otherwise.
Photos, Screenshots and Media
Some features may allow you to select or upload images. Media is accessed only when you choose a feature that needs it and grant the required device permission. Where on-device text recognition or other on-device processing is used, the selected media does not need to be uploaded for that processing. Images intentionally uploaded to a shared or public feature are handled according to that feature's sharing settings.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, provide and personalize requested app features, store user-created content, calculate requested results, maintain saved items, process purchases or entitlements, prevent abuse and duplicate submissions, process reports, moderate content, provide support, improve reliability and protect the security and integrity of the service.
No Sale of Personal Information
Rocket Beaver Software does not sell users' personal information. Personal information is not disclosed to third parties in exchange for money.
Service Providers and Processing Outside Canada
We may use service providers such as Apple platform services, Google services, Firebase, hosting, mapping, authentication, payment and cloud providers where reasonably necessary to operate an app. Those providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions in which they or their service providers operate. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
Subscriptions and Payments
Where an app offers an Apple App Store or Google Play purchase or subscription, payment information is handled by the applicable platform. Rocket Beaver Software may receive transaction or entitlement information needed to determine whether a purchase is active, but does not need to receive your full payment-card information from the app store.
Retention and Deletion
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account or app functionality, meet legal or security obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, and resolve disputes or reports. Where an app provides account deletion, you can initiate deletion through the app. You may also contact us for assistance. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or service-provider systems before removal through normal retention cycles.
Safeguards
Rocket Beaver Software uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled by each service, including authentication, access controls and security features provided by our service providers. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information Rocket Beaver Software holds about you, ask that inaccurate information be corrected, request deletion, withdraw optional permissions or consent, and raise a privacy complaint. Some information may need to be retained where permitted or required for legal, fraud-prevention, security or safety purposes.
Children and Family Features
Our products are intended for their stated audiences and are not designed to bypass age or parental-consent requirements. If you are not legally able to agree to the applicable terms on your own where you live, use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Family-oriented features may contain information supplied by other family members; users should share information responsibly and respect the privacy of living relatives.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as our apps, service providers or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by providing notice in the affected app or through another reasonable method.
